The report needed to provide a concise list of the physical assets being returned; folders, papers, microfilm, audio cassettes/CDs, as well as explain the digital files being delivered and how to use those files.

DM Cultural Services needed a report after finishing a large scale audio digitisation and archival digitisation project. The report needed to be a quick snapshot of the files and audio recordings being returned to the Nation as well as a brief on the files that had been digitised, how they had been digitally organised, and what remained to be completed.

The booklet needed to be user friendly and for a non-Aboriginal audience. Its purpose was to explain respectful etiquette and protocols for working in Lax Kw’alaams territories as well as a concise historical narrative of the People and their territories.
